Pasol Oxidation Stability Analyzer utilizes an oxygen pressured dry vessel to evaluate the oxidation stability of new and used oils in the presence of water and a copper catalyst coil at 150°C according to ASTM D2272 (RPVOT), D2112, D4742, D942 and IP229 standards.
The Rotating Pressure Vessel Oxidation Test (RPVOT) is a method to measure resistance to oil oxidation instead of the oxidation that is already present in the oil as other methods offer.
