We are proud to announce the successful installation and commissioning of the Oxidation Stability Analyzer ASTM D2272 Method B – PASOL 10 for LEMIGAS, a distinguished government-owned research and testing institution serving Indonesia’s oil and gas technology sector.

Oxidation stability is a chemical process that occurs when lubricating oil is effected by oxygen. High working temperature, water, acids, and catalysts speed up the oxidation process. Remaining life of a lubricant is shortened especially at high temperatures. Additionally, oxidation causes an increase in the viscosity, as well as varnish and sludge deposits.

This milestone marks another step forward in PT Tekno Klop Indonesia’s commitment to supporting advanced and reliable testing solutions across the energy industry. The PASOL 10 system will enhance LEMIGAS’s analytical capabilities in evaluating lubricant oxidation stability, aligning with global testing standards and ensuring high data integrity.
