PT Tekno Klop Indonesia has successfully deployed 3 Sets of fully automated Water Quality Monitoring Systems. Specifically, these are designed to deliver continuous, real-time river water quality data. Thus, they form a vital part of an Industry 4.0–ready monitoring infrastructure.

Each system integrates pH, turbidity, conductivity, and dissolved oxygen (DO) sensors. Furthermore, river water is pumped into a dedicated measurement chamber. Consequently, this ensures stable and repeatable measurements. Sensor data is collected in real time. As a result, this enables immediate visibility of water quality conditions. Also, it allows for a rapid response to any anomalies.

At the core of the system is the RTCU LX4Pro from Logic IO. Importantly, it functions as a smart edge controller. The controller automatically does the following:

  • Acquires and transmits real-time sensor data to the monitoring platform.

  • Controls automatic pump operation.

  • Performs sensor auto-cleaning using compressed air.

  • Manages automatic drain valve operation to remove sediment buildup.

Moreover, multiple protection layers are implemented to support high system availability and data integrity. These include flow switches and level switches. Therefore, they ensure safe and reliable operation under all process conditions.
